TRIBAL MOOSE SMOKED SALMON
This easy recipe will turn you into a salmon lover forever.
First, if you do not have a smoker, an inexpensive smoker would be the big or small Chief smoker.
They can be found in most sportsmen's shops. Now you need to find the right salmon. My suggestion is to buy the Copper River Red Salmon. They are found in the most pristine rivers in all of Alaska. You can find them fresh on the market around the middle of May.
Buy at least two large filets, because one will never be enough.
Baste the salmon with tribal moose BBQ or steak sauce.
Put salmon in to your new big chief smoker and use 3 pans of smoke one hour apart for a total of three hours.
